Atelier d'initiation à la traduction littéraire - l'Arabe

As part of the Mediterranean season, the Alcazar is presenting a major series of meetings and workshops on literary translation in the Mediterranean, in partnership with the ATLAS association—Association for the Promotion of Literary Translation. The second translation workshop will focus on Arabic, led by Sarah Rulfo. Sarah Rolfo was born in 1979 in Ghent, Belgium. After living and teaching in Syria, she moved to Paris, where she worked in the book and translation industries. She now lives in Marseille. She translates contemporary Arab authors, including children’s literature. Most recently, she translated Mohammed Alnaas’s “Bread on Uncle Milad’s Table,” published by Le Bruit du Monde (2024).
