As part of the European Heritage Days, we are offering you a guided tour. Immerse yourself in sequence 12 of the Mars Imperium project, born from a simple but essential observation: the lack of visibility of Marseille’s colonial history and its traces still present today. Samia Chabani, director of the Ancrages association, invites you to discover the Marsimperium.org portal \[[https://url.de.m.mimecastprotect.com/s/vzZUCoZMGzhW9BPC1fWfpJInP?domain=marsimperium.org\]](https://url.de.m.mimecastprotect.com/s/vzZUCoZMGzhW9BPC1fWfpJInP?domain=marsimperium.org%5D), as well as its first section, Marseille, Metropolis of Empire, for which she served as curator: a fascinating exploration of the statues adorning the staircases of Gare Saint-Charles. The encounter then continues in the field, with a route to the foot of the staircases, where we will observe together how Marseille’s colonial past is still inscribed in our urban landscape.
