What becomes of language in the age of extreme communication? We are in the near future. Paul, CEO of a major petrochemical group, has retreated to his luxury bunker with his daughter Ami. Passionate about biotechnology, he has had a chip implanted to enhance his abilities. For several days, Ami has withdrawn into profound silence. In opposition to her father, whose manipulative use of language she knows well, she has chosen to live in a world of gestures and reading. But soon, their refuge will prove to be a trap conducive to crises and paranoia. Presented as part of the Actoral Festival, this claustrophobic drama questions the role of new technologies in the exercise of power. The director orchestrates a constant tension between speech and silence, closely linking text and body, theater, hip-hop dance and martial arts, allowing one question to emerge: how can silence be turned into a weapon? Written by Matthieu Bareyre and Marion Siéfert Directed by Marion Siéfert With Janice Bieleu, Monica Budde, Lorenzo Lefebvre, Charles-Henri Wolff
