The Sun Fast 30 One Design is the culmination of a project initiated by three prestigious offshore racing clubs. The One Design Class is on its way to becoming a benchmark in offshore sailing, with an ambitious international racing program. The design project for a 30-foot one-design yacht intended for offshore sailing was developed by the UNCL, the racing branch of the Yacht Club de France, the Royal Ocean Racing Club (United Kingdom) and the Storm Trysail Club (United States), with the primary objectives of promoting the discipline, making sailing more accessible and training the next generation.
