Drawing on highly varied influences—classical music, jazz, traditional music, rock, funk, electroacoustic music…—the three musicians unite in the energy of jazz. The three instruments meet, seeking points of fusion as well as rupture. They interact with electronics in real time and complement, oppose, or even contaminate one another at times, with ideas spreading in completely unexpected forms according to the intensity of the moment and the emotions: profound melancholy, furious assaults, festive rhythms, hypnotic trances… Trumpeter and electronic instrumentalist Pascal Alletto works with sound material through the hybridization of textures. Pianist, composer, and arranger Gilles Cabanes performs jazz, combining improvisation and free creation, in the classical repertoire and contemporary music. Eclectic bassist Alexandre Fontana enjoys improvising and laying down the groove within various ensembles: jazz, soul, funk, rock, and traditional music.
