The Circular Octopulse bicycle sound system travels from the forecourt of Café Julien to La Mesòn, transforming the city into a giant dance floor. From 2:00 p.m., Cie Enezeg gets things started with a one-hour introduction to traditional dance, before Mercure launches a live drum & bass dance session. Maître Mim's will then signal the departure for the procession, with a mix of traditional and electronic music, intuition, curiosity and sometimes miraculous results. On the program: melodies that have passed through generations, bass lines that resonate through the sternums, and a sincere attempt to get the ancestors talking with the synthesizers. So far, no one has complained.
