ENSEMBLE KERAM

KERAM is an Armenian traditional music ensemble founded in Marseille in 1980. Its repertoire consists of sacred and popular songs, as well as ashugh songs, performed by Armenian troubadours whose tradition stretches from the 17th century to the present day. Among the most famous are Sayat Nova, Chirin, Cheram, Achod and Djivani. It also includes an extensive repertoire of folk dances, peasant songs and wedding songs. Artistic Director: Serge Eurdekian
