The exhibition Rappelle-moi was born from the meeting between La Bibliothèque sonore des femmes, a literary installation conceived by author Julie Gilbert with around forty women writers, and the collections of the Bibliothèque de poésie contemporaine at the Centre international de poésie Marseille. La Bibliothèque sonore des femmes is a literary installation that gives voice to, or allows visitors to hear again, women writers—little-known or forgotten—through fictional monologues written by contemporary women authors. The thoughts of women—authors, artists, philosophers, poets, activists...—are thus brought up to date through contemporary voices and writing, via a choral installation: a collection of audio recordings to discover at telephone stations available to the public. A selection of books and documents from the collections of the Bibliothèque du Cipm—one of the most important poetry collections in Europe—extends this space for listening, discovery, reflection, reading, and rereading. Rappelle-moi is part of the Diagonales du catalogue series, a collection of exhibitions intended to highlight the richness of the Bibliothèque du Cipm; it is open to the public from June 27 to September 26, 2026, in partnership with the Institut français as part of Saison Méditerranée 2026.
