Fête du sport

On September 14, 2026, the Fête du Sport returns for its second edition with a day devoted to movement, celebration and sharing. This year, the Fête du Sport takes on particular significance: it is the biggest highlight of Septembre Bouge, the month dedicated to promoting physical and sporting activity. Throughout France, introductory sessions, demonstrations, workshops and meetings will give everyone the opportunity to discover new disciplines, take part for free and find an activity suited to their interests and abilities. Everyone is invited to get moving alongside athletes, volunteers and the entire sporting community, to celebrate the values of sport. Marseille: An XXL village on the Vieux-Port From 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Marseille’s Vieux-Port will be transformed into a huge village dedicated to sport, health and sharing. The village is organized around four complementary areas, where visitors can get moving, discover, find information and find solutions suited to everyone. A national celebration of getting active together The Fête du Sport also means thousands of events organized throughout France, giving everyone the opportunity to discover sport and get moving. Program: free activities accessible to all audiences; introductory sessions and opportunities to discover sports; meetings with local sports organizations; a celebration of the values of sport: self-improvement, inclusion, health and sharing.
