Visit the Borély Museum – Museum of Decorative Arts, Ceramics and Fashion for the European Heritage Days. For its 43rd edition, the European Heritage Days will take place on Saturday, September 19 and Sunday, September 20, 2026, on the theme “Heritage of Photography”. The museum’s program includes guided tours, workshops, exhibitions, and more. ˃ Self-guided tour “The Art Nouveau – Art Deco exhibition. Marseille at the heart of the styles” From the naturalistic curves of the Belle Époque to the geometric lines of modernism, the exhibition brings together nearly 300 works created between 1889 and 1937. Exceptional loans from prestigious institutions such as the National Manufactories, Sèvres & Mobilier national, the Musée d’Orsay, Chanel and the Azzedine Alaïa Foundation enrich the presentation of previously unseen pieces from the museum collections of the City of Marseille. The exhibition will remain on view until April 26, 2027. (last admission 5:30 p.m.) ˃ Guided tour “The Art Nouveau – Art Deco exhibition. Marseille at the heart of the styles” This guided tour offers an opportunity to discover the Art Nouveau – Art Deco exhibition, which, through nearly 300 works, highlights the connections and breaks between these two major aesthetics, while revealing Marseille’s role as a Mediterranean crossroads in the dissemination and reinvention of the decorative arts.
