Guided tour of the Musée des Docks Romains For their 43rd edition, the European Heritage Days will take place on Saturday, September 19 and Sunday, September 20, 2026, on the theme "Heritage of Photography". ˃ Guided tour of this exceptional remnant of a Roman warehouse, which evokes the port activity of Marseille between the 6th century BCE and the 4th century CE. Closed for preparatory work, Fabrice Denise, director of the Musée d’Histoire de Marseille, will present the reopening project for the Roman Docks, in a different configuration focused more on the history of Marseille’s urban excavations and the discovery of the site after the Second World War.
