La bibliothèque de la Société d'horticulture, 180 ans de recherche

Guided tour of the heritage library as part of the 180th anniversary of the Société d'horticulture et d'arboriculture des Bouches-du-Rhône. The library, created when the Society was founded in 1846, contains a remarkable collection of old books from the 17th to the 20th century, as well as a more modern collection. Discover these treasures, which have become very useful in combating climate disruption by adapting cultivation in gardens and agriculture. Since 1977, the Société d'horticulture et d'arboriculture des BdR has been located in the Bortoli country house in the middle of the park; the library is on the first floor. The Society also has a garden along Bortoli Park. Tours depart every 30 minutes. Exchange or pay-what-you-wish sale of old and recent books on nature in the courtyard of the country house, and plant exchange in the garden.
