La Society 2026

A hip-hop program at Friche la Belle de Mai, from April to September 2026, devised by AMI (Association Aide aux Musiques Innovatrices) The Hip-Hop Society festival is undergoing a small revolution and becoming La Society, with the ambition of establishing a lasting artistic presence. In the future, it will therefore no longer be a festival, but a series of programs presented several times a year at Friche la Belle de Mai. The spirit of this new format remains true to the artistic hybridity inherent in the hip-hop movement. La Society thus intends to offer a privileged space for exploring and promoting innovative creations, both local and international. It will also build strong partnerships with the young organizations of the Incubator and emerging players in the region. At each session, audiences will be invited to discover performances that push back artistic boundaries by encouraging unexpected encounters and original collaborations. La Society highlights the creative energy and diversity of a constantly evolving movement that remains rooted in emancipatory activism. La Society therefore continues this momentum by committing to nurturing artistic curiosity and providing a showcase for artistic and cultural innovation, while honoring the essence of hip-hop.
