The [mac] musée d'art contemporain welcomes the 8th De leur temps triennial, organized by ADIAF from April 4 to September 20, 2026. The Musées de Marseille and ADIAF, the Association for the International Diffusion of French Art, are joining forces to present the exhibition The Climate of Life. Sensitive Histories of Private Collections, as part of the 8th edition of the De leur temps Triennial, which highlights works acquired over the past three years by collectors committed to promoting contemporary creation. The Climate of Life. Sensitive Histories of Private Collections brings together 136 works from more than 70 French and international private collections and Marseille patrons, spanning every field of creation: painting, video, sculpture, performance and installation. The exhibition explores the collection as a true living ecosystem and questions the “ideal climate” of museums – this stable and controlled environment – in the face of the ecological, political and social upheavals of the contemporary world. Activity booklet for young visitors - Free at the museum reception desk ► To ensure that you can enjoy a complete visit to all our exhibition rooms, we invite you to contact the Museum before your visit ► All visits and activities related to the exhibition are available on the museums’ website
