Le monstre mur

As part of and co-programmed with the actoral festival Victor Malzac and Rubin Steiner Ahead of the performance The Paradox of John Someone is speaking to us. We will not know who it is. This person speaks to us from the hospital room where they were born and where their life is destined to unfold. Nurses and doctors watch, examine and monitor them. The only escape from this medical routine is a window, through which they catch glimpses of the outside world, and those unpredictable moments when a protean monster, both frightening and consoling, comes to hold them in its arms. It then whispers things to them: the world is against them, this is all a conspiracy, perhaps they are the guinea pig in an experiment conspiring to harm them. Little by little, reality stretches, the walls of the room expand, words overflow on their own, and violence surfaces… The Wall Monster was published in January 2026 by Éditions Les corps conducteurs.
