Between philosophy and science, a poetic and joyful collective adventure centered on the act of thinking! Cécile, a researcher, invites us into a laboratory to tend to our desire to be in the world. Both guinea pigs and accomplices, we are swept into a frantic and uncertain quest between depth and lightness, anxiety and laughter. Must we forget everything to finally live in the present? Dissect thought in order to save it? Memorize methodically to care for relationships? As in Kristina Chaumont’s previous show, La tête loin des épaules, emotion and intimacy fuel a collective reflection. While the language is simple and direct, the bodies and the dance remind us that thought is also a physical, concrete and sensitive activity. The stage, a true playground, represents a mental space with its twists and turns, constructions and accumulations… all the way to the chaos from which, perhaps, a new path may emerge.
