The first monographic exhibition of visual artist and filmmaker Mona Benyamin. This first monographic exhibition of visual artist and filmmaker Mona Benyamin, presented by Triangle-Astérides—an art center of national importance and resident organization at Friche Belle de Mai—in collaboration with B7L9 in Tunis, will present a new installation based on her ongoing research into the links between sound and power, as well as three earlier videos in which questions of memory and identity are embodied by her parents. Mona Benyamin's work references television culture, while humor and irony serve as political tools for critical reflection.
