Fræme, a resident organization of Friche la Belle de Mai, invites Abdessamad El Montassir, an artist-researcher from Boujdour in the Sahara in southern Morocco, whose practice questions the traditional construction of narratives. Through films, photographs and sound pieces, complemented by new glass works produced in partnership with the International Center for Glass and Visual Arts Research (Cirva) in Marseille, the artist offers, with Sarab Dakira, an immersion in this little-known territory, sharing its distinctive features and forms of knowledge, which weave together a creolized relationship with non-humans and a unique relationship with oral poetry, understood as living and shifting archives. Exhibition curator: Gabrielle Camuset In partnership with: Kulte (Morocco)
