**NOUS, Sorcière & Sauvage** ---------------------------- ### **September 16, 2026 - March 13, 2027** **Exhibition – Tours - Workshops - Educational activities - Cultural program** _NOUS, Sorcière & Sauvage_, a wonderful exhibition at the Bouches-du-Rhône Departmental Library, awarded the “Bicentennial of Photography” label by the Ministry of Culture as part of the national celebration of the 200th anniversary of photography. The exhibition _NOUS, Sorcière & Sauvage_ showcases the work of **10 contemporary artists**, who offer their perspectives on these two symbolic figures and their shared paths, through a wonderful journey into the world of a forest, the realm of the witch and the wild man. More than **130 works** are presented (painting, drawing, photography, illustration and sculpture). They question the construction of narratives, the emergence of archetypes and representations, and re-examine ever-shifting boundaries: between nature and culture, human and animal, fiction and reality, man and woman. Numerous educational activities and workshops are offered around the exhibition: performances echoing the exhibition’s works by the circus company Libertivore, playful and sensory tours… An associated program will allow the people of Marseille to discover all the shows that have previously delighted young and old alike in the towns of the department.
