**Rediscover the legendary Marseille Saint-Charles station from an architectural perspective: its historic buildings, its adaptation to the growth of the railway and the city, and its impact on the surrounding urban environment.** Armelle Fabry, an architect with SNCF Gares et Connexions, took part in designing the station’s latest major modernization and expansion project. During this tour, she will share her experience and knowledge of the building’s architectural choices, the anecdotes surrounding its construction and development, and the questions and problems that had to be resolved to make Saint-Charles station a model of modernism and architectural success.
