On Thursday, October 1, International Day of Older Persons, let’s put older people on the menu of our lives! In pairs or in groups, in a school or company cafeteria, a restaurant, a nursing home or even a museum garden, 800 people from Marseille will have lunch with strangers to rediscover the pleasure of connecting with others and meet another generation. What if living well together began with a simple lunch? Much more than a community-minded canteen, La Marmite Joyeuse is above all a place whose purpose is to foster social connections through culinary activities. And to extend the moment, there will be Scrabble, cards and chess from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., independently.
