Le chant des oiseaux

A gentle musical journey with the duo Birds on a Wire and the Conservatoire de Marseille Choir. For nearly fifteen years, Rosemary Standley has combined her voice with that of singer and cellist Dom La Nena. With equal delicacy, the duo transforms baroque airs, traditional Latin American songs, and pop and rock songs engraved in our collective memory. For The Song of the Birds, the two musicians are joined on stage by a young choir, the Maîtrise du Conservatoire Pierre Barbizet de Marseille, to expand their sensitive territory even further. Original compositions and rearranged pieces from the duo’s various albums take flight and lift us up with them.
