Le roi Grenouille

A show based on the Brothers Grimm and Alphonse Daudet. Once upon a time there was a capricious princess who did not keep her promises, an honest web-footed creature determined to earn respect, and a freedom-loving goat who wanted to flee, at the risk of her life, from her familiar enclosure... The Frog King and Monsieur Seguin’s Goat have in common that they question free will and the difficulty of exercising it. On one side, the princess is forced by her father to face the consequences of the promise she made to the frog; on the other, the goat throws herself wholeheartedly into a choice that will lead to her downfall.
