Liteul Pipol - Les deux lunes

In a corner of a world inhabited by mischievous little creatures, a dancer, a giant among them, weaves a chrysalis made of white threads. Wooden puppets emerge, revealing an unknown world preparing for a metamorphosis. Beneath the concrete of the cities, a dance reveals a world inhabited by little creatures. They appear without warning, bicker, play and knit their chrysalis to prepare for their metamorphosis. Their corner of the world features touches of pastel light, a gentle universe lulled by piano notes. Jointed, these little wooden puppets move with suppleness and lightness while the dancer, a giant in the land of the Lilliputians, delicately discovers their tiny world. The Théâtre Désaccordé continues its exploration of a theatre of lines, threads and shadows with this desire to reverse the scales. For once, very young children look at beings smaller than themselves. Like the children, the puppets experience the many attempts to move, stand upright and break down movement in order to reach a standing position.
