Marseille, Histoire D'en Rire !

Discover how the Phocaean city was shaped over the centuries, in an immersive and hilarious story set in the fiery atmosphere of 1423: the sacking of the city. That fateful year, Marseille was ransacked. At the heart of this tragedy, the chains of the Vieux-Port were stolen by the Catalan invaders and are now housed in the Santa Maria Church in Valencia. Join us for an unforgettable evening where history, mystery and action come together—a date that history enthusiasts and lovers of captivating stories will certainly not want to miss! After the show, you will have the opportunity to interact with the author during a Q&A session and explore this fascinating chapter of history further. A book-signing area will also be specially set up, where you can obtain a signed copy of his book. Serge Obré recorded this incredible story in his latest work, recounting how an unlikely group of “hopeless cases” undertook the daring mission of recovering these precious chains.
