Premier forum méditerranéen pour la démocratie

On the occasion of International Democracy Day, the student association MED IN ACTION is organising the first edition of the Mediterranean Forum for Democracy in Marseille. The event will bring together young people, residents, elected officials, academics and community organisations to discuss civic participation and engagement in the Mediterranean. Conceived and led by students from Aix-Marseille University, the forum aims to create a space for dialogue that is accessible to everyone. Under the slogan “An Engaged Mediterranean”, it will explore ways of participating in community life, staying informed, debating and taking action in response to today’s major democratic challenges. Organised in collaboration with the City of Marseille and Eurasia net, the Mediterranean Forum for Democracy is part of a local, European and Mediterranean dynamic. It will also be a local event within the European project HOME – House of Engagement, which aims to strengthen ties between universities, associations and initiatives that promote student engagement.
