The Alonetimes

Show as part of the Propagations Festival — GMEM. A musical performance that explores our ultra-modern loneliness with emotion and dark humor. A broken friendship, an awkward first time, a confession to a stranger in a hotel bar, a bout of tears, an online encounter… The Alonetimes is a reflection on loneliness taking the form of fragments of personal stories told through music. The result of an unprecedented meeting between two major composers from the contemporary scene, this creation is performed by six artists who push back the boundaries of performance. From one voice to another, from one life to another, the stories circulate in the hope of bringing these fragments into resonance and making us feel a little less alone.
