Through the grapevine live

A unique duo combining dance, circus and sport. Created during the COVID crisis (which prevented exploration of the interaction with music), Through the Grapevine live returns in a new version, now featuring a reworked soundtrack performed live by composer and musician Andrea Belfi. Continuing to combine dance, circus and sport, Alexander Vantournhout plays with the physical differences between himself and his partner, Axel Guérin. Together, they unfold an uninterrupted movement made up of intertwining and lifts. With this singular pas de deux, showing bodies stripped of all artifice, they help each other and discover their strengths and weaknesses. Although the two bodies are identical, they have aged a little and their movements have evolved over the years. Alexander Vantournhout (who describes himself as a “circographer”) is taking a new path: live music on stage to add depth and further intensity to this ingenious quest for balance and harmony, which is not lacking in humor!
