Trésors polyphoniques

Pay-what-you-can concert as part of the European Heritage Days with the male vocal ensemble N’Hommades Created in 2019 and co-directed by Luc Rosa and Robert Nageli, the male vocal ensemble “N’Hommades,” supported by the Orfées association (Mallemort, 13), brings together ten singers passionate about popular polyphony. They sing mostly a cappella, sometimes accompanied by a guitar or accordion. This is an invitation to a borderless musical journey through the polyphonies of the Pyrenees to the Caucasus, Africa to the Americas, and the Mediterranean to the Pacific, following the harmonies and emotions they awaken in each of us, whatever our culture of origin. Thus, we can follow the nostalgic song of a herdsman in the Georgian or Argentine mountains, hear the tragic story of Stenka Razin on the Cossack plains, share the joy of the “novia” during an Occitan wedding, weep with Irish prisoners beside the Royal Canal, and dream of the source of love in a poem from Cyprus… The singers: Pierre Gente, Xavier Hazevoets, Pascal Chatard, Claude Thiard (guitar and charango), Hubert Hermitte, Luc Rosa (guitar), Jean Claude Delzenne (guitar), Robert Nageli (percussion), Bruno Léautier (vocals and accordion), Guillaume Bernard.
