We’ve been looking forward to getting back to basics with a residency by our very own Keuj, for an exceptional date with Lou Nour, the new priestess of UK-made electronic music. Formerly known as Sicaria, Lou Nour was long recognized as one half of the duo Sicaria Sound, which delivered major blows on the UK scene by bringing dubstep back to the forefront for a new generation. Today, Lou is recontextualizing her journey by offering an artistic direction devoted to underground club culture, somewhere between UK Bass Music, 4x4 rhythms and modern dubstep. A way of showcasing her roots in soundsystem culture, her Moroccan heritage and her openness to contemporary club music?. An unmissable artist who is slowly redefining the standards of UK club culture, she will be expertly supported that night by a Marseille-to-Marseille b2b for the ages: NOGE b2b Mawi. Childhood friends, dancefloor fanatics and locally committed to electronic music, these two bass music troublemakers from Marseille are coming to showcase their skills and welcome Lou. Unité.22 is once again transformed into a UK temple for one night, ending with a set by Keuj, always where you least expect him, always in the right place. —————— LOU NOUR Based in London, Lou Nour is an emerging DJ and presenter whose work lies at the crossroads of underground club culture and contemporary cultural storytelling. Drawing on her Moroccan roots and steeped in British soundsystem culture, she has developed a mixing approach that transcends genres and unique tempos. Although rooted in bass culture, her sets move fluidly between rhythm-focused club music, hard-hitting sounds, polished dance edits and unexpected detours, deliberately adapting to the moment, the place and the context. Whether delivering moments of pure peak-time energy or more thoughtful, narrative selections, Lou prioritizes emotion, fluidity and human connection rather than confining herself to rigid stylistic categories. KEUJ ****Avant-garde, pioneering and thunderous, KEUJ has been active on the Marseille scene since 2014. Founder of the Subdwarf label, he takes the steepest paths through electronic music to offer unprecedented journeys, both in terms of sensation and musical discovery. Moving across every spectrum of electronic music, his DJ sets have no genre limits. MAWI A DJ born in Toulouse but adopted by Marseille, Mawi shapes her sets in a hybrid, melodic and explosive way. Although her ear is primarily drawn to UK Garage and Bass Music, she knows how to raise the BPMs for more breakbeat and drum and bass finishes. Percussive sounds and incisive Trap bangers also feature in her sets. She enjoys blurring boundaries by blending influences and adapting to her audience, making every set an unpredictable dancing experience. NOGE NOGE (short for Not Generic) is a producer, composer and DJ, an emerging figure on Marseille’s club scene. A specialist in Bass Music and Global Club sounds (Baile Funk, Baltimore Club, UK Funky, Jungle...), he develops an approach defined by corrosive basslines and deconstructed structures. Co-founder, resident DJ and producer within the Pata Negra collective, he has multiplied collaborations with local organizations (Twerkistan, Radio Grenouille, Animals Industry, Festival Le Bon Air) and artists (Laze, RAVL, Lorkestra, Cardozo), while performing at venues such as Dock des Suds, Cabaret Aléatoire, Espace Julien, Makeda, Le Chapiteau de la Belle de Mai, Molotov, Club Coop, Le Talus, La Murisserie, as well as in London (Artsect Gallery), Brussels (Brasserie Illegaal, Chateau Moderne), Paris (Glazart, Le Mazette, Le Point Ephemère), Lille (Nox Club) and Lyon (Péniche Loupika). His EP DAMAGE (Matière Production) illustrates his sonic identity between club music and experimentation.
