Plunging into a nervous breakdown after the failure of his First Symphony, he consulted Dr. Nicolas Dahl. During hypnosis sessions, the neurologist promised him that he would write an immensely popular concerto. He got to work, and success followed. To perform this breathtakingly virtuosic work, we place our full trust in Victor Demarquette, 22, a student of Rena Shereshevskaja and Elisabeth Leonskaja. Son of cellist Henri Demarquette, this young pianist already has all the makings of a great artist.
