Violaine Debever

For her recital at the Opera, Violaine Debever has chosen Maurice Ravel, a composer particularly close to her heart. Violaine Debever, piano Violaine Debever began her musical training at the Pierre Barbizet Conservatory of Marseille. A few years later, she joined the class of concert pianist Nicholas Angelich at the Paris Conservatory. Subsequently, she devoted herself wholeheartedly to the music of her time, working in particular with violinist Hae-Sun Kang of the Ensemble Intercontemporain. She completed her training at the Boston Conservatory. For her recital at the Opera, Violaine Debever has chosen Maurice Ravel, a composer particularly close to her heart. Miroirs consists of five pieces that can be described as impressionist, although Ravel rejected the term. Jeux d’eau belongs to the tradition of Liszt’s poetic and spectacular pieces.
