Al Alba : dans les bras des mauvaises herbes
After the Galerie des Grands Bains Douches de la Plaine, Art-Cade* is opening Medusa, a new space dedicated to creation, experimentation and conviviality.
For the opening, Art-Cade* is giving Al Alba, Clara Buffey, Leo Peralta and Nicol Perez carte blanche.
Al Alba is a shifting territory where voices intersect, respond to one another and invent new ways of being together. At the crossroads of performance, costume, visual art and song, the collective weaves landscapes inhabited by hybrid figures, reinvented materials and languages that refuse borders.
During this residency, the artists will open a space for research and experimentation where bodies, voices and objects will become vehicles for stories in transformation. Drawing on found materials, choral practices and imaginaries inspired by the cycles of living things, they will explore the possibilities of a shared, sensitive and undisciplined language.
The residency presentation will be an opportunity to share an initial stage of this research: a journey through metamorphoses, polyphonies and landscapes in the making.
