Atelier "Sauve qui pousse" chez Nouvelle Pousse (soin des plantes d'intérieur)
About this event
Come and take part in a workshop at the heart of Nouvelle Pousse’s community plant-reuse center, located at Friche la Belle de Mai, and learn how to care for your houseplants. You’ll support our association while gaining the confidence to stop letting your plants die, and you’ll even leave with a small plant as a gift!
Are your plants sad or slowly dying? Have you even managed to kill your latest succulent? Can’t figure out why you don’t have that famous “green thumb”? You’re in luck—we’re here to help!
The volunteers at the Nouvelle Pousse association are plant enthusiasts. At Friche Belle de Mai, they have set up a plant-reuse center that collects and cares for indoor and outdoor plants that would otherwise be thrown away. Our goal: reduce waste while sharing the joy of plants with as many people as possible!
Join us for a workshop that will teach you everything you need to keep your plants healthy and thriving for a long time: choosing a pot, selecting the right location, potting soil, fertilizer, good watering techniques, pruning, propagation from cuttings… We’ll cover both theory and practice as we care for plants at the reuse center. You can even take home one of the small plants we repot or care for together!
PS: If you’d like personalized advice, feel free to bring photos of your beloved plants or even bring in a plant that’s in trouble—we’re here to help!
Organization: NOUVELLE POUSSE
Nouvelle Pousse is a plant-reuse center in Marseille that collects plants and flowers destined to be thrown away and gives them a second life. These plants are cared for and given a new lease on life through low-cost sales and workshops on plant care, for the general public or people experiencing isolation. In this way, Nouvelle Pousse reduces plant waste, makes the joy of plants accessible to as many people as possible, and raises awareness of the ecological transition.
