About this event

Discover Marseille’s seafront by taking part in an exceptional event. For this final outing of 2026, COBIAC is once again joining forces with the Marseille collective Sonorama as part of the second edition of the “Bruits Roses” festival.

Set sail for two hours of navigation and listening along the Marseille coastline. Love letters, calls for help, stories of exile, messages to those absent or sent into the unknown: so many messages in bottles, arriving from other shores to ours. A sound crossing accompanied by Mehdi Ahoudig, who combines the adulterous correspondence of his parents, recounted in Brûle mes lettres (ARTE Radio), with other travelers’ stories.

With Mehdi Ahoudig (Arte Radio - France) and Justine Perez.

We will sail along Marseille’s southern coast aboard the Hélios, a quiet boat that has become a benchmark in nautical ecotourism and is accessible to people with disabilities. (Please contact us.)

After crossing Marseille’s Old Port, we will head toward Cap Croisette. We will follow the Marseille coastline, its islands and its ports, including Vallon des Auffes, to reach Île Maïre via Les Goudes. Return to the Old Port in the beautiful evening light.

The captain may modify the itinerary depending on sea conditions. The outing may be canceled in case of bad weather (in that case, tickets will be refunded automatically).

The outings are a partnership between COBIAC and Icard Maritime. This outing is part of the “Bruits Roses” festival program.

PLEASE NOTE, SPECIAL TIME: Meeting point at 4:30 p.m. at Quai du Port, 13002 Marseille, in front of the gate to the Icard Maritime pontoon, opposite Bar La Samaritaine.

Departure at exactly 5 p.m. Return at 7 p.m.

Organization: COBIAC

A nonprofit organization recognized as serving the public interest, COBIAC (Collective of Librarians and Cultural Action Professionals), founded in 1979, works toward regional and international cooperation (since 2000), supporting the development of reading and libraries. Its challenge: to make information and knowledge available and accessible to everyone, in all their forms, in places and languages suited to the cultural context. Wherever they are, libraries must offer these opportunities: spaces of freedom and openness to the world, gateways to education, lifelong learning and personal fulfillment.

Its main activities are as follows:

  • Carrying out expertise and project engineering assignments

  • Assistance in building book collections (purchases and donations)

  • Supporting institutions and local authorities in carrying out library creation projects

  • Providing professional support to library staff internationally.
