Bladi Sound System - Enghelâb release party

Live - Oriental Club

Bladi Sound System was born from a machine still full of samples from the Bazaari project, one night when Arash Sarkechik stopped holding back. Twenty years of performing onstage, at the conservatory, and in the street led him here: alone at the machines, working with Middle Eastern rhythms and exploring Farsi through punchy words and slogans dreaming of a different destiny. Bladi Soundsytem transforms the anger provoked by current events into dance, into collective trance fueled by a will to live, together. Since the start of 2026, Arash has been touring extensively, and Bladi Soundsytem is taking shape everywhere, anywhere, with or without permission. In 2026, Enghelab will be released: an electronic diptych on the Marseille label Rescue + Return Records, in search of a freedom for Iran that may seem utopian, but the question will not stop being asked.
