Blandine Lehout: the journey of an outspoken comedian

Originally from the Paris region, Blandine Lehout followed an unusual path before entering comedy. After abandoning studies in medicine and then accountancy, she first took to the stage during a stay at Club Med in Guadeloupe. Encouraged by Guy Lepage, creator of the series Un gars une fille, she returned to France to take theater workshops and refine her writing.

Her first solo show, La Vie de ta Mère, directed by Hugues Duquesne, was written from late 2019 onward. It draws on direct, warm and uninhibited humor, fueled by her experience as a young mother, her openly acknowledged contradictions and her unsentimental view of relationships.
