What is Civic and Citizenship Training?

During their civic service assignment, every volunteer must attend Civic and Citizenship Training (FCC). It comprises two components:

• a two-day “theoretical” component offered by Môm'artre, whose purpose is to raise volunteers’ awareness of citizenship issues. The €100 cost of taking the training is reimbursed to your organization by the Civic Service Agency

• a “practical” component in the form of Level 1 first-aid training (PSC1) provided by another organization.

The Môm'artre Network is a popular education association that has been offering workshops in schools and neighborhoods for nearly 20 years to promote access to culture and build social connections. In 2014, we wanted to multiply Môm'artre’s educational impact by creating our training organization.

We pass on our values and educational approach to young people and adults, using artistic practice and culture as tools for facilitation and mediation. They are powerful ways to share and strengthen our responsibilities for the cohesion of our society.

Organization: Réseau Môm'artre

The association’s purpose is to help families care for their children outside school so they can reconcile personal and professional life, democratize artistic practice, enliven neighborhood life and build social connections, and promote the integration of artists.
