Biennale des Imaginaires Numériques 2026 - Cartographie sensible et mémoires recomposées
Group exhibition As part of the Biennale des Imaginaires Numériques and Saison Méditerranée Presented by CHRONIQUES
About this event
The artists brought together in this exhibition create narratives in which images become unstable territories, traversed by memory, exile and the traces left by conflict. Fragmented archives, transformed landscapes, reimagined mythologies and haunted architecture sketch out sensitive geographies where stories that are often rendered invisible persist.
The works invent counter-narratives in response to the logic of cultural, political and colonial erasure, while revealing the fragility of contemporary representations. They do not claim to correct the official map, but instead set something more radical against it: other ways of seeing, from other positions, for other memories.
Featuring works by the artists: Amer Albarzawi SY – Amir Youssef EG – Mounir Ayache FR – Said Afifi MA – Valentina Berthelon CL
