A philosopher comes forward. His speech is clear, educational and reassuring. He attempts to understand this strange paralysis in the face of climate change: is the world unconscious or paralyzed by fear? His lecture gets underway when the grain of sand appears. Three circus artists invade the stage. Juggling, hand-to-hand work and acrobatics: they shake everything up, transforming the lecture into a tragicomic experience. Director and philosophy teacher, Guillaume Clayssen enjoys bringing disciplines together. After Suis-je bête ?!, he once again calls on the audience’s attention and joyfully leads it toward unexpected reflections. Through the magic of circus, he makes us feel the vertigo of this denial, so that we can better overcome it, transforming turmoil into poetic impulses and paralysis into action.
