Gyptis in concert – Bach and Vivaldi The Gyptis Choir returns to Marseille for an exceptional concert program bringing together two masterpieces of sacred music: Johann Sebastian Bach’s motet Jesu, meine Freude and Antonio Vivaldi’s Gloria in D major, RV 529. Under the direction of Bénédicte Pereira, the Gyptis choristers will be accompanied by eleven professional musicians and singers from the region, bringing out the full richness and energy of these two major works of the Baroque repertoire. A vibrant concert, full of depth, emotion, and virtuosity, in the magnificent setting of Saint-Laurent Church in Marseille.
