In pairs or groups, in a school or company cafeteria, a restaurant, a nursing home, or even a museum garden, 800 residents of Marseille will have lunch among strangers, rediscover the taste of connecting with others, and meet another generation. What if living well together began with a simple lunch?

Les Beaux Mets is a bistronomic restaurant in the heart of Baumettes prison in Marseille. It is the first prison restaurant open to the public in France.

⚠️ Important information for your registration: As Les Beaux Mets restaurant is located inside Baumettes prison, access is subject to authorization from the prison administration.

• Registration must be completed no later than 4 working days before the lunch, to allow time to verify your identity and criminal record.

• An identity document will be required on the day of the lunch.

• Due to access-control procedures, people who are nationals of countries outside the European Union are currently unable to access the restaurant.
