Dreamachine Festival

In Marseille, Dreamachine Festival brings artists and audiences together across 6 venues and 6 events, from club nights to live music, performance and experimentation. A queer festival celebrating fluid identities and opening up spaces of freedom.

Dreamachine is nightmare friendly.

Dreamachine celebrates what resists clear-cut definitions: music that crosses genres, identities in motion, unruly forms. In a world that wants to categorize us and make us legible, preserving a measure of opacity, ambiguity and unpredictability is a way to resist.

Our festival champions spaces where bodies, sounds and stories transform—where we meet without having to define ourselves, where we belong without having to fit the mold. Launching a queer festival in the south of France is no small thing: lasting spaces where these cultures can express themselves and meet remain rare, especially in music and nightlife. Yet they are vital.

The first edition of Dreamachine Festival takes place in November in Marseille, across 6 events and 6 venues, in a constellation that emphasizes movement between venues and forms: electronic music and club culture, performances and experimentation, artists from near and far, queer and diasporic scenes. This visibility is a reminder: we are here, and these scenes need spaces, resources, attention and longevity.
