Fête du pastoralisme
In Marseille, this pastoralism festival on October 3, 2026, is an event not to be missed!
For this 9th edition, the associations are offering musical performances, discoveries of our region, wooden games for children as well as board games for adults, tastings of honey and Oriental and Brazilian cakes, as well as light refreshments between noon and 3 p.m. You can also enjoy carriage rides, dance performances…, capoeira and, of course, Brazilian batucada.
For the first time, you will discover Japanese brush calligraphy, a fan dance performance, an Oriental parade, and the eagerly awaited concert by the Petits Violons des Calanques with the musicians from the UERE project from the favelas of Rio de Janeiro, who will be in Marseille from October 2 to 5.
This family festival will take place in Parc de la Jarre and at Théâtre du Centaure, avenue Marguerite de Provence 13009, on Sunday, October 5. Detailed program
–10:30 a.m. The Ciq refreshment stand offers you free coffee, tea, syrup……
– 11 a.m.: Presentation by Calanques National Park and the Naturoscope of the project by students from École des Calanques on the educational marine area of Sormiou Calanque. They studied the calanques for a year and created information panels for the public. They will soon be installed in Sormiou Calanque.
–11:30 a.m. The Brazilian violinists and the Petits Violons des Calanques will perform in concert for three days. You can hear them at 11:30 a.m. in the dojo of Théâtre du Centaure.
