Halloween à Marseille : avec Silentium, The Dark Dreams vous enferme dans un institut maudit
About this event
Until November 1, The Dark Dreams Marseille presents Silentium, its new Halloween scenario. In a 600 m² labyrinth plunged into darkness, live actors hunt players through the corridors of an institute that should never have been reopened. An hour of guaranteed thrills, with no headset or virtual reality.
After “Le Cercle Interdit” last year, the famous horror labyrinth in the 10th arrondissement has been completely transformed for Halloween 2026. Welcome to Institut Doyen. An inspector vanished while investigating the establishment, and the management denies everything. It’s up to you to pick up the investigation where he left off… if you dare to step through the door.
The concept remains the one that made the venue famous: a 600 m² course in near-total darkness, brought to life by actors performing in real time, with sound and lighting effects and old-fashioned sets. There’s no virtual reality here: the fear is real, and it’s waiting around every corridor. A few puzzles punctuate your progress, helping you keep a cool head… or almost.
Dark Friday, for the boldest
Every Friday, the labyrinth switches to extreme mode with Dark Friday. Deeper darkness, an even more intense soundscape and visual effects, and more direct interactions with the “entities” haunting the place: this version is for those who think they’ve seen it all. As the experience is more physical, clothing you don’t mind getting dirty is strongly recommended.
Based in Saint-Loup since 2017, The Dark Dreams has become one of the must-do Halloween events in the Bouches-du-Rhône. Players give it a rating of 4.9 out of 5 on Google, based on several thousand reviews. Every fall, the venue reinvents itself with a new scenario that attracts groups of friends as well as colleagues looking for an unusual outing.
Silentium prices change over the course of the season. Expect to pay 45 € per player until October 16, then 55 € from October 17 to 30, and 59 € for the evenings of October 31 and November 1. A GoPro option lets each group leave with a video of its best scares for 45 €.
Online booking is required, and October time slots, especially on weekends, fill up very quickly. It’s best to book several weeks in advance.
