Janice en Flammes dans Stand up révolté
About this event
After writing her thesis on professional seducers of tourists in Peru, Janice decided to keep doing sociology through stand-up. She uses humor to share her thoughts and turn them into combustible comedy. In a show that moves between the personal and the collective, she addresses, autobiographically and with sharp self-deprecation: heterosexuality, social deprivation, rural life and its unspoken truths, the upper bourgeoisie, masculinities, guilt, partying, and greenwashing. A politically engaged show with a Groland-inspired edge, but feminist in spirit, where social satire turns into celebration and humor embraces sociology to bring to life characters grounded in reality, who confront power dynamics head-on. She puts herself into it: it’s hard-hitting, but never takes itself too seriously. You are invited to this political and festive performance to laugh out loud, find strength, and feel good.
