Janice en flammes : stand-up révolté

About this event
Janice, a comedian from Picardy and a doctor of sociology, presents a rebellious, feminist clown show that makes you laugh and shakes up the system.
After writing a thesis on professional seducers who target tourists in Peru, Janice decided to keep doing sociology through stand-up. She uses humor to share her reflections and turn them into combustible comedy.
In a show that sits between the personal and the collective, she addresses, autobiographically and with sharp self-deprecation, heterosexuality, social deprivation, rural life and its unspoken truths, the upper bourgeoisie, masculinities, guilt, partying and greenwashing. This committed, feminist show has a Groland-style edge: social satire turns into celebration, and humor embraces sociology to bring to life characters rooted in reality who confront power relations head-on.
She puts herself into it: it’s intense, but never takes itself too seriously. You are invited to this political, festive performance to laugh out loud, find strength together and feel good.
