The show « À (re)découvrir » is a stand-up performance in which JJ Esposito talks about his city, Marseille. He discusses his working-class origins, his training in classical theater and his discovery of the power of words. « When I talk about myself, I am talking about you. » He moves on to reflections on love, family, prejudice, (Re)Marseille and social media. The show combines personal anecdotes, interactions with the audience and satire of society, while also addressing politics, the media and the debates of our time. « In love, words are the weapon of the ugly. » Behind the provocations and deliberately irreverent jokes, he advocates humanist values, tolerance and freedom of expression. « To be a conveyor, a postman, a dealer in emotions. »
