Jeanne Added / Moustik Haterz

Jeanne Added Singer, songwriter, composer, producer and bass player, Jeanne Added has established herself as a distinctive figure on the French music scene. Trained in classical singing and jazz, she has developed a sound that brings together rock intensity, melodic freedom and raw sensitivity. After Be Sensational, her debut album released in 2015, and Radiate, which won two Victoires de la Musique awards, she released By Your Side in 2022, an album with warm, enveloping sounds, shaped in particular by the influence of Joni Mitchell. A free-spirited and daring artist, she brings a powerful voice and magnetic presence to the stage, balancing raw energy with intimate emotion. Moustik Haterz Piquant and flavorful, Moustik Haterz’s music has plenty of taste. This tight-knit instrumental quintet radiates infectious enthusiasm. Two saxophonists weave their breath together, propelled by a powerful trio of keyboards, electric bass and drums. Their crowd-pleasing program is both sophisticated and accessible, and is best enjoyed live. With pieces inspired by Balkan and Oriental music, as well as UK jazz with electronic textures, celebration and dancing are never far away. Then the band opens up more impressionistic spaces with atmospheric pieces, another specialty of the group. This concert is presented as part of Jazz Migration, a program supporting emerging jazz and improvised music musicians, led by AJC with the support of the Ministry of Culture, Fondation BNP Paribas, SACEM, ADAMI, SPEDIDAM, CNM and Institut Français. An evening in partnership with the Musées de Marseille.
