A Frenchman who grew up in the United States and is now based in the Paris region, Jwles is forging a singular path between rap, fashion and visual culture, revealing the richness and breadth of his artistic vision. His travels — from Atlanta to Russia via Egypt — fuel a global and unpredictable aesthetic. Spotted by leading artists in their niche scenes, he collaborates with Shawny Binladen, Skrilla, Slimesito and Sideshow, illustrating the breadth of his connections in American rap’s underground. In France, he has been working for several years with producers Blasé and Mad Rey. His world also lies between electro and hip-hop, supported by Brodinski and Pedro Winter of Ed Banger Records. With one foot in fashion and art, he works alongside artists such as Shadrinsky and Chito, appears in the Supreme ecosystem and notably took part in his first fashion show for Prototypes. His latest release, Bijoux, and its extended version, Bijoux de Luxe, continues this hybrid artistic vision.
